Annet Mahendru
Mahendru was born to a Russian Indian mother as well as an Afghan Hindu father. She is fluent in German, Russian, English in addition to French Persian and Hindi. Her parents are Russian as well as Indian. The choreographed show she performed at age 11 which aired on German television, transformed her into a Russian dancer, who became a snow maiden. After high school, she graduated with a bachelor's diploma from the Department of English from New York. She studied improvisation and comedy in the Groundlings School after leaving HB Studio. Her parents were an Afghani Hindu-Indian mother and Russian father, who lived in Kabul in Afghanistan. The family moved together with their father to New York, when she was 13 years old. She appears on FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys. She is best known as the ex- KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. Her most well-known role is her recurring roles in Fox's The Following & NBC's The Blacklist.
